T-Mobile USA rolls out updated enterprise broadband plans
T-Mobile USA’s focus on the enterprise market grew some teeth today as the carrier introduced mobile broadband plans targeting that high-value segment. The plans are segments into those that either throttle data speeds when a user exceeds their allotted bucket, or customers can maintain their network speeds and be charged overage fees.
The throttled plans begin at $25 per month for 500 megabytes of data, ranging up to $73 per month for 10 gigabytes of data. For those looking to remain throttle-free, plans begin at $20 per month for 500 Mb of data with overage charged at 10 cents per megabyte, and range up to $70 per month for 10 GB with overage at 2 cents per megabyte.
For comparison, T-Mobile USA’s consumer-focused mobile broadband plans begin at $40 per month for 2 GB of data, ranging up to $80 per month for 10 GB. Those plans included throttled data speeds when consumers exceed their bucket allotment.
